When logging in with Microsoft Dynamics SL, are you getting an error message? To be more specific, are you seeing Fatal Error 9001? This error can be directly related to the log file not being available through SQL.
When you try to back up the database or change anything related to that database you will get the following error: “Log for database is not available.”
The solution to this problem is actually quite simple; you must detach the database and then reattach it.
You will receive an error when you first detach the database. This is normal. Once this happens, refresh the table list in SQL. You will now notice that the database is not listed. Now reattach the database. This should correct the access problem.
